Privacy Policy

This policy describes the public Shoplyx website at shoplyx.org, associated with the Shoplyx project. It does not describe a publicly launched app. App-specific information should be provided before a future public launch.

Information used by this website

The contact form prepares an email in your email application. It does not send form contents to a Shoplyx server. If you send that email, we receive the name, email address, topic, message, and any other information you choose to include. We use correspondence to respond to your inquiry and follow up where you request it.

The site is hosted with Google Firebase Hosting. Hosting providers may process request information, such as IP address, browser information, requested pages, and timestamps, to deliver and secure the site. This site does not currently use a standalone analytics service or offer public user accounts.

Optional affiliate tools

The site contains Impact and Skimlinks integrations. They are currently held inactive pending program approval. If approved and activated in the future, they will load only after you select "Allow tools" in Cookie choices. These providers may process device and browser information, page visits, link activity, cookies, and other identifiers for affiliate attribution and reporting. Installed code does not mean a network has approved the project.

Your preference is stored locally in your browser under shopxly-affiliate-tools. You can change it through Cookie choices in the footer or clear your browser's site data. Choosing to turn tools off reloads the page to stop loading them. It does not remove cookies already held by third parties; use your browser controls or the provider's choices for those.

An existing Sovrn retailer link is retained in inactive site code, pending approval; it is not currently offered as a shopping link. If affiliate links become available later and you choose to open them, the network and retailer may process referral information and set cookies under their own policies, even when optional on-page tools are off.

Sharing, storage, and retention

Correspondence is handled through our email provider. Hosting and affiliate providers process information for their respective services and may do so in countries outside your own. We do not publish your contact messages on this website.

We keep correspondence as needed to handle the inquiry, related follow-up, and applicable obligations. A fixed retention period is not currently specified. Contact us to request deletion of correspondence; any information that must be retained will be explained in response.

Your choices

You can browse with optional affiliate tools off, avoid external affiliate links, and request access, correction, or deletion of information you sent to us. Available rights depend on your location. Contact asmek205@gmail.com with privacy questions or to stop requested follow-up messages.

Children and sensitive information

The website is intended for a general shopping audience and does not seek information from children under 13. Please do not send sensitive identification, financial, or health information through the contact form.

Updates

We may revise this policy as the site changes. The date above identifies this version. New app features or data practices will require corresponding policy updates.
